Public Interest Disclosure management general advice

We provide agencies and public officers with general advice, training and support materials on PID management, including:

  • assisting public officers interpret the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2010 and 2019 Public Interest Disclosure Standards
  • providing feedback on agency PID policies and procedures
  • assisting agencies assess whether a complaint might be a PID
  • providing guidance and support materials on reprisal risk assessments
  • support obligations – including guidance and support materials for support assessment
  • guidance, information and administration of the oversight PID reporting database (RaPID), including adding new users and resetting passwords.
