Asbestos Report (2013) This investigation reviewed the coordination of the government’s response and approach to asbestos across different agencies and councils. The report considered issues such as the education of the public about asbestos risk, licensing of asbestos removalists and the transport and disposal of asbestos. The report found that there was a need for an integrated strategic approach to ensure an effective framework for managing asbestos in Queensland. The report was tabled on 21 March 2013.
