The Queensland Ombudsman’s report on the contracting process for the history of Queensland project was tabled in Parliament on Thursday 4 December 2008.

The report presents the findings of the Ombudsman’s investigation into a complaint by the then Deputy Leader of the Opposition, Mr Mark McArdle MP, about the Department of the Premier and Cabinet’s contracting process for the writing of a history of Queensland as part of Queensland’s 150^th anniversary celebrations.
