The Queensland Ombudsman's Office launched its new and improved website for the community and public sector agencies on Tuesday 6 May 2008 following an extensive site review and upgrade.
The new website provides better access to information about the Office’s services, an improved online complaint form and key resources for agencies such as our complaints management resources and Perspective newsletters.
The community can now more easily make a complaint about a state government department or agency or local council via our online complaint form or alternatively, find out which agency can best handle their complaint.
Key features of the website include:
- an improved online complaints form with a step-by-step process so complainants can see what stage they are at
- easy-to-understand information on our role and how to make a complaint
- 'visual cues' on the homepage to direct people to key sections and information
- improved navigation and search functions
- easily accessible advice and resources for state and local government agencies to help them improve their administrative practices
- a dedicated training section where agencies can book a session online
- an extensive media page including images and media releases for journalists.
